Football is allowed again in Mathare

We have also resumed our sports activities in Mathare and Huruma respectively. The government here has lifted the ban on 19 sports due to the vaccines received and this has allowed us to continue with mobilizing youth and organizing friendly soccer matches on weekends to stop crime in our communities.

Soccer is a symbol of peace. It brings people together, puts smiles on people’s faces and also brings different tribes together. On Saturday the 10th of this month, we at One World Network organized a friendly match at the Drive Inn Mathare ground between Young Stars and Huruma Stars.  Young Stars won 1-0 against Huruma Stars. Hereafter I share some photos.
