October 2025: Ethiopia / Lalibela: third round of the eye treatment campaign

The PBF Memorial Clinic has successfully completed the third round of the eye treatment campaign.

It has been more than six months since the PBF memorial clinic fully started health care service. The clinic has done a lot to help people by offering free eye treatment in addition to basic health care. The people of Lalibela and the surroundings have greatly benefited from the clinic’s services, with many individuals experiencing improved vision and overall health. The success of the eye treatment campaign has inspired the clinic to expand its services and reach even more people in need of medical care. Read more

Ethiopian New Year Celebration at PBF Memorial Clinic and August 2025 Month Service Performance Evaluation

PBF Memorial Clinic is located south of Lalibela Town. There are around 20,000 households in the area, which is about 5 Km from Lalibela Public Hospital, but there is no other health facility. We are on the right track in providing better, modern medical care and closer access to healthcare for the community. Read more

July 2025: Ethiopia / Lalibela: Peter Bachman visited the Destitutes

Peter Bachman visited the Destitutes, one of the main projects of PBF in Lalibela, Ethiopia.

Destitutes are individuals who have been marginalized and left without basic necessities such as food, shelter, and healthcare. Many aged people without a caregiver, mothers with many children and have no partner, people affected by chronic diseases, and individuals with disabilities are among those supported by PBF. The Destitutes project aims to provide these individuals with the support they need to improve their quality of life and break the cycle of poverty. Read more
