PBF helps build a septic tanker for the VDI center for the homeless in Addis Ababa.

The VDI center has collected many elderly homeless people at one place in Addis Ababa. More than 80 people come to the VDI every day at lunch to get a very simple meal to stay alive. Some also find permanent shelter at the VDI. All of them are very weak, vulnerable to diseases, without any security, and exposed to all the risks on the street. Read more

Emergency Relief Distribution Report – Flood-Affected Families in Teso Region

  1. Introduction

On 6th Nov 2025, Action of Love International (AoLI) conducted an emergency relief distribution exercise to support families severely affected by the ongoing floods in rural communities of Teso. The intervention was made possible through the generous funding and partnership of the  PBF. This humanitarian response aimed to restore hope and dignity to flood-affected families who have lost their homes, property, and livelihoods. Many of these families are currently living in makeshift shelters and struggling to meet their daily needs. Read more

The PBF Memorial Clinic has successfully completed the third round of the eye treatment campaign.

It has been more than six months since the PBF memorial clinic fully started health care service. The clinic has done a lot to help people by offering free eye treatment in addition to basic health care. The people of Lalibela and the surroundings have greatly benefited from the clinic’s services, with many individuals experiencing improved vision and overall health. The success of the eye treatment campaign has inspired the clinic to expand its services and reach even more people in need of medical care. Read more
