Peter Bachman visited the Destitutes, one of the main projects of PBF in Lalibela, Ethiopia.

Destitutes are individuals who have been marginalized and left without basic necessities such as food, shelter, and healthcare. Many aged people without a caregiver, mothers with many children and have no partner, people affected by chronic diseases, and individuals with disabilities are among those supported by PBF. The Destitutes project aims to provide these individuals with the support they need to improve their quality of life and break the cycle of poverty. Read more

The recently built Laudato Si village became a center of PBF activities, offering a safe and supportive environment for those in need. It has over a year since delivered for the destitutes in the community, providing essential resources and services to improve their quality of life. The success of the village has inspired us to adopt similar models for sustainable development and social support. Read more

Peter Bachmann Visits the PBF Center for Elderly Care in Addis Ababa (VDI)

VDI is a small association in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, dedicated with great commitment to supporting homeless elderly people. The center provides a warm meal each day for 70 to 90 people, as well as beds for some and medical assistance. All visitors are especially vulnerable due to age, illness, and poverty. Additionally, beds are available where the homeless can find safe shelter and basic healthcare. Read more

This is Center for Children Living with various kinds and levels of Disability. It is in the Center of Mathare in Nairobi. Many children are born with all sorts of disability in these areas especially because of the kind of life people face. Unfortunately, there are no public or government institutions in this place to accommodate these children. Read more

Dr. Robert Sucher from the Austrian Ethiopian Society visited PBF Memorial Clinic.

Numerous individuals, including officials, guests, and the general public, have visited the clinic since its official opening and have been consistently taken aback by our performance. One of the most important missions of the PBF Memorial Clinic is also integrating our healthcare service into the outside world. This involves creating channels for donors and volunteer health professionals to be able to get involved in the clinic and contribute with their professional, financial, and material supply to the clinic. This enables the clinic to be well equipped with medical equipment and human resources to better serve the community. Read more

Introduction
Dr. Peter first visited Kenya in the early 2000 as a private visitor. He met several people who showed him around various parts of if the country. He later started supporting projects and individuals in the areas of groups and self-help. These included small business, agriculture, access to water and individual medical support. Many young students from poor Nairobi slums and rural villages got a chance to study and start small business. Read more
