Two Wells of Hope – Water Access for Gashena

A Sign of Dignity

In the dry highlands of Gashena, two new community water fountains are rising. Simple in appearance, yet profound in meaning. Soon, they will provide clean and safe drinking water to more than 200 households, bringing relief, healing, and renewed dignity to families who have carried the weight of scarcity for too long.

Water that Heals:
With every drop that will soon flow, waterborne diseases lose their power. These fountains become quiet guardians of health – daily blessings that work without noise, without ceremony.

Water that Builds the Future:
The fountains will also supply our brick-making project, enabling the production of affordable building materials for future community initiatives. A circle of hope emerges: Water enables work. Work creates bricks. Bricks build the future.

A Quiet Miracle:
When the first buckets are filled, it will be a simple moment – yet sacred. In this water, the whole story of the community is reflected: its vulnerability, its patience, its strength.
