The Mass Eye Outreach Program at Emmanuel Medium Clinic (EMC) was conducted from June 26 to 28, 2026. This program is usually conducted every quarter and fully sponsored by PBF to support the poorest of the poor. The primary objective is to provide comprehensive eye care, including surgeries and treatments for a wide range of conditions:

A total of 414 eye patients received treatment during the three-day program. Out of these, 74 major surgeries and 53 minor surgeries were successfully carried out.

  • Conjunctivitis (9 cases)
  • Other Infectious and Eye Diseases (128 cases)
  • Vision correction and photochromic lenses has distributed for 85 needy

This program was fully supported by PBF and brought significant impact to Gashena and the surrounding community by providing both major surgeries and medication treatments to those who otherwise may not have access to such care. It is a witness to the ongoing efforts of EMC to reach the most vulnerable community and improve their quality of life through specialized healthcare, made possible through the dedicated efforts of EMC staff, Dr. Abrham & his skilled surgical team.

The people of Gashena are grateful for the support and care they have received through this program.
