Lalibela City Council awarded PBF a prestigious certificate in recognition of their community services for the last 20 years.

The PBF Foundation got lifelong recognition by the Lalibela City Council for its outstanding contributions to the community in the last 20 years. This acknowledgment highlights the foundation’s commitment to improving the lives of local residents through various initiatives and programs.

The Lalibela city administration council, under the speaker’s leadership, visited the institutional operations of the PBF Memorial Clinic before the award was granted. The council serves as the highest authority in the city, overseeing all sectors and directly representing the people of Lalibela and its surrounding areas.

During their field visit, they have gained understanding of the PBF Memorial Clinic’s one and a half years of community health services. They have visited physical service departments; free health service (mass eye treatment campaign) performance; institutional organizing; community health impacts; and clean and comfortable health facilities and hospitality.

The PBF memorial clinic team explained in detail the clinic’s operational experience, technology and renewable energy utilization, different departments’ performance, medical machines, medicine-providing services, and client satisfaction services. The team has forwarded the PBF Memorial Clinic’s ambition to become a future general hospital and desire to serve society through greater organization and capacity.

The city council expressed their immense satisfaction with the clinic’s public health service and hospitality and promised to prepare an encouragement program.

Finally, on July 2, 2026, PBF received a prestigious certificate from the council annual meeting in appreciation of their 20 years of community service.
